These red, blue, orange, green, violet, indigo, yellow, cyan, white, and black plastic housed magnets are very powerful permanent rare earth magnets, coated with a durable plastic. The 1/2" x 1/4" dimensions are the finished dimensions of the plastic housing. These permanent neodymium magnet discs can be slammed together many times without damaging each other. They will not mark or scratch surfaces that they come in contact with and are completely weatherproof.
