This is another neodymium cylinder magnet that we originally stocked so we could use them in Permanent magnet sculptures and art, but we found them to be useful for other Rare earth magnet purposes. They are a nice size to grasp with ease. Two of them pinching a piece of string between them make a great homemade compass. And, they do work great with nickel steel balls in magnetic sculptures and jewelry. They are strong, yet easy to handle.
