Steel Balls
Amazing Magnets stocks three types of steel balls (440C Stainless Steel, Chrome Steel, and Nickel Plated Steel). 440C and Chrome Steel Balls are both Grade 25, and are bearing quality. Nickel plated steel balls are made of a softer steel and are sold by Amazing Magnets specifically for use in Magnetic Sculptures. Additional sizes and materials can be produced if required.

440C Stainless 440C Stainless is a magnetic grade of stainless steel. It holds up well in harsh elements, but they are not rust proof. 440C Stainless Steel Balls are not magnets, however they are magnetic. |

Chrome Steel Bearing-Quality 52100 Alloy Steel balls. If used with our magnets as scuplture parts, they may rust over time if not kept dry and salt free. Chrome Steel Balls are not magnets, however they are magnetic. |

Ni Plated Ni plated balls are steel balls coated with Nickle plating. These are brighter in color and slightly softer steel than chrome, however they will not rust like chrome steel. Ni Plated Steel Balls are not magnets, however they are magnetic. |
